Here at The Consec Group we support the Brighton and Hove Living Wage Campaign and have committed to paying our employees the Real Living Wage, and never the National Minimum Wage.

What is the Real Living Wage?

The ‘Real Living Wage’ is a figure calculated annually, based on the amount a person needs to live to a reasonable standard. This is currently set at £10.90 an hour.

Why are we supporting the ‘Real Living Wage’ in Brighton?

In 2022, the average cost of living for individuals in Brighton and Hove has risen to £1544 a month including rent. This puts Brighton and Hove into the top 23% of the most expensive cities in the world. This is why here at The Consec Group we are committed to continue our support of the Real Living Wage, in turn supporting our employees to the best of our ability.
